Ashton Gyde_edited.jpg

Ashton  Gyde

Hip  Hop

Ashton Gyde began his dance journey just over 3 years ago, primarily focusing and developing on an authentic movements style. During his first year of dancing, Ashton was independent and spent almost every day/night dancing or freestyling in his garage, all for the joy of moving.

Wanting to take his dance journey to the next step, Ashton found his dance family Lucid Moves. @lucid_moves has been a safe haven for Ashton. The energy and safe space to grow into a diverse mover was exactly what Ashton needed to kick off his dance career further.

For the past 2 years Ashton has been mentored by the man, the myth, the legend… @Rhys_hume Ashton is always grateful for the knowledge and opportunities this man has given him.

In Ashton’s career, he has taught multiple classes from beginner to advanced levels located in Ipswich, the Gold Coast and of course at lucid.  Not only does Ashton takes great pride in his authentic style and choreography but also believes his passion for teaching will have a positive impact and make a real difference to the world.

Ashton is so grateful to have the opportunity to share with Performance Plus Dance Centre and teach something more than just dance!
