All students get to let their hair down and some fun with the teachers at the break-ups. Juniors gets to swim across the road at the IGS pool with floating obstacle courses and sausage sizzle. Santa makes an appearance with a small pressie for all the kids. Senior's get to go to an adventure park (usually somewhere different each year) in a hired mini-bus or on the train. Over 18's also get a special night out.
All students enrolled at PPDC will participate in the annual concert held in the first week of December at the Ipswich Civic Centre. The concert consists of a showcase of the new performance teams routines for that year and the opportunity for all students to learn themed routines displaying their talents and progression by performing for family and friends. The most fun filled, exciting and long awaited event of the year where students enjoy make up, costumes and get up on the big stage.
PPDC holds a Junior & Senior Halloween Party for the kids to come in costumes.
Pizza friends and great dancing make for
lots of fun and laughs whilst watching the teachers scare unsuspecting students. They had a little too much fun.
All students enrolled at PPDC are invited and encouraged to let their own creative juices flow and choreograph their own 3 minute routine (solo, duo or trio) of any genre to participate in a relaxed competition adjudicated by a guest judge. Winners are announced and presented with a trophy at our presentation night .
All students enrolled at PPDC are invited to the annual
Presentation Night held in the first week of December at the Ipswich Civic Centre. All students are presented with a plaque and years of attendance certificate so each student has their time to shine. Students that achieved Honours and Honours Plus for their examinations are also presented with trophies in recognition for their hardwork and dedication. The relaxed evening has some light entertainment and finger food. The attire is semi formal so start shopping for that special dress and dont forget the camera.
